In the third Express Entry draw of the week, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs). Specifically, the department invited 150 candidates under a category-based selection draw for agriculture and agri-food occupations. Candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 437.
Today’s draw marks the third of the week, following two previous ones. The initial draw, on February 13, was a general draw where 1,490 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 535 or higher received ITAs. Then, on February 14, IRCC granted ITAs to 3,500 candidates in a category-based selection draw specifically for health care occupations. To qualify, candidates needed to meet a minimum CRS score of 422.
On February 1st, another category-based selection draw took place, inviting 7,000 candidates distinguished by their strong French language proficiency. This draw marked the largest of the year thus far.
In January, there were three general draws that collectively invited a total of 3,280 candidates. The minimum CRS score required for these draws varied between 546 and 541.
